Harry Potter & The invisibility cloak (Rifftrax sample)

Dumbledore, at one point, possessed all three Deathly Hallows. From Dumbledores letters to Grindelwald in Deathly Hallows, it is obvious that the headmaster of Hogwarts was obsessed with the idea of the Hallows in his youth. Marvolo Gaunts ring lay on the desk before Dumbledore.

At what age do you become invisible? An informal study by supplement company A. Vogel reported that most women begin to feel invisible . The Busch and Vogel findings touched on a growing frustration among mature women. State residents 45 and older are climbing in number.

How does a human body become invisible? Basically, light is responsible for everything that the human eye can see. We see objects when light falls on them, bounces off and reaches our eyes. So to make anything invisible, one way is to stop light from interacting with it. One way through which this was achieved by scientists is by making a Projection Cloak.

What is Quantum Stealth? Quantum Stealth is a patent-pending material that can make a human or an entire building completely invisible by bending light waves around whatever it is you want to hide. The light bending material is made by Hyperstealth Biotechnology Corp and is aptly known as the Invisibility Cloak.

Did Dumbledore Have All 3 Deathly Hallows

Yes. At one point in time, Professor Dumbledore did possess all three of the Deathly Hallows. He had already owned the Elder Wand since 1945, which was the year he defeated Gellert Grindelwald in a historic duel. He had obtained the next Hallow when he collected the Gaunt ring from where it was hidden by Lord Voldemort as a Horcrux, which also contained in it, the Resurrection Stone. He obtained the third and final Hallow when he borrowed James Potters Invisibility Cloak to study it.

Is It Possible For Dumbledore To See Through The Invisibility Cloak

Who gave Harry the invisibility cloak: Even though Dumbledore is a strong wizard, he has restrictions. The cloak should prevent him from seeing through it. Although J.K. Rowling stated that he employed a spell upon seeing Harry and Ron at Hagrids, this would be in direct contradiction to all she has written on the cloak!

Perhaps she was in a hurry or wasnt thinking clearly at the time. We, on the other hand, have a different idea. And a far more straightforward one at that.

Dumbledore utilized logic to figure out where Harry was as well. These events occurred at the Mirror of Erised and in Hagrids cabin, as we all recall.

Dumbledore most likely set up the situation to compel Harry into the room by placing the mirror there for him to find.

Dumbledore had been anticipating Harry, so when he heard the door open and footsteps, he may have concluded that Harry had entered the room and stood in front of the mirror. Once inside the chamber, Harry most likely removed his cloak, and Dumbledore noticed him.

There was also Hagrids cottage to consider. The two extra teacups, as well as other indicators of a guest, were spotted by Dumbledore.

Only three students pay Hagrid visits, and only one of them wears an invisibility cloak, according to Dumbledore. It was also a smart idea to look around the corner.

Dumbledore looked to the farthest corner, expecting them to move as far away from the door as possible.

How Did James Potter Get The Cloak Of Invisibility

James Potter inherited the Cloak of Invisibility from his father Fleamont Potter. Fleamont was a descendant of Hardwin Potter who married Iolanthe Peverell, the only daughter of one of the descendants of Ignotus Peverell, the original owner of the Cloak of Invisibility. James, like Harry, used the cloak for interesting escapades from the castle of Hogwarts.

Dumbledore acquired the Elder Wand’s powers during a famous duel before the books take place. During his demise, the power of the wand shifts from himself to Draco Malfoy accidentally, and then ultimately to Harry Potter, who defeats Malfoy in a duel.

So with all that knowledge, here’s the theory that’s . The theorist also notes that Dumbledore first met Harry Potter at King’s Cross and that he was ultimately behind/involved in the deaths of Severus Snape and Lord Voldemort.

Is Harrys Invisibility Cloak The Only One

No, Harrys Invisibility Cloak is not the only cloak with invisibility effects in the wizarding world. There are several other cloaks available as either toys or even as serious magical objects used by adult wizards and witches for discretion. While some are just traveling cloaks armed with a disillusionment charm or a bedazzling hex, many others are made separately as cloaks that cause the invisibility effect by using the hair of a magical creature known as the Demiguise as its raw material.

How Does It Work

It uses green screen technology to match to the background but other than that I think it is just magic.

Wear the cape one way and it looks like the cape as you know it from the movies it will make any budding wizard or witch feel the part.

The inside of the cape has bright green lining though and this is how the magic happens.

You need to download the WOW! STUFF app to make the cape do its thing. You also need the activation code, which is found on the instruction booklet. Once you are set up you are ready to go.

First of all, you must set the camera phone up on the handy stand provided. It is key that the camera is kept still. Press the button while they are off-screen so that the app can do its magic and then invite them back into the frame.

How clever is that?

You can either press record at this point to do a video or you can take a photo. For the party, we took photos of each guest in the cloak so they could have an extra memento of the day.

The cloak itself is a nice quality and is great for just swishing around the house in while they practice their spells. But with the added fun of the app, it turns a cool cloak into the coolest cloak around.

If you have a Harry Potter fan, this is a must! Available from , Argos & Smyths Toy Superstore.

We were gifted the cape but all words and thoughts are my own.

The Whole Theory Stems Around The Tale Of Three Brothers A Fairy Tale Told To Potter During The Seventh And Final Book Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows

To jog your memory, here’s how the tale goes:

Three wizard brothers come to a river that’s too treacherous to cross, so they make a bridge with their wands. But as they’re crossing they’re met by a hooded figure, Death, who is upset they’ve cheated him.

But Death, being cunning, acts like he’s impressed. He offers them each a prize for outwitting him. The first brother asks for an extremely powerful wand and so he is given the Elder Wand.

The second brother asks for the power to bring people back to life and is handed the resurrection stone.

The third brother, who senses that Death may have ulterior motives, asks for something that will allow him to move forward without being followed by Death himself. And so Death hands him an invisibility cloak that hides the wearer from even his own gaze.

For two of the three brothers, the story doesn’t end well. The first brother is murdered over the Elder Wand. The second brother kills himself after a woman he brings back to life returns differently and he decides to join her in the void. The third brother lives to be an old man, then hands the cloak to his son, and “greets Death as an old friend.”

Harry Potter fans have long assumed that the three brothers represent Lord Voldemort , Severus Snape and Harry Potter .

But who is death?

Death is Dumbledore, according to this new theory. Here’s the evidence.

Harrys Cloak Of Invisibility A History

According to the legend of the Tale of the Three Brothers, it is said that when a trio of brothers went on a journey, Death appeared in front of them and gave them each a gift. The first two brothers got the Elder Wand and the Resurrection Stone according to their wishes, and the youngest brother, got the Cloak of Invisibility that Death fashioned out of his own Invisibility Cloak. It is said that this legend refers to the Peverell brothers who lived around the 13th century. The youngest brother is said to be Ignotus Peverell who lived in Godrics Hollow and was buried in a graveyard there.

After his death, his son inherited the cloak and this tradition continued until one of the Peverell descendants had only one daughter, Iolanthe Peverell, who married Hardwin Potter, the son of Linfred of Stinchcombe, who was the patriarch who founded the Potter family. The tradition of inheritance continued into the line of descendants of the Potters until the cloak reached Harrys father James Potter. It was later borrowed by Dumbledore to study its properties and to verify if it was actually a Deathly Hallow. Dumbledore later decided to rightfully hand the cloak to Harry and therefore sent it as a Christmas gift.

Can Dumbledore See Through The Cloak Of Invisibility

Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak @Menkind

Dumbledore is a very powerful wizard, but even he has limits. He should not be able to see through the cloak. Although J.K. Rowling mentioned he used a spell when seeing Harry and Ron at Hagrids, it would go against everything she wrote on the cloak!

Maybe she was in a hurry or was not thinking at that moment. But we have a different idea. And a simpler one at that.

Dumbledore also used reasoning to figure out where Harry was. We all remember these situations at the Mirror of Erised and in Hagrids cabin.

Dumbledore positioned the mirror specifically for Harry to discover, and most likely set up the situation to force Harry into the room.

Dumbledore was expecting Harry, so he could have guessed when he heard the door open and footsteps that Harry had entered the room and stood in front of the mirror. Harry most likely removed his cloak once inside the room, and Dumbledore noticed him.

And then there was Hagrids cottage. Dumbledore noted the two extra teacups, as well as other signs of a visitor.

Dumbledore is aware that only three pupils pay visits to Hagrid, and only one of them has an invisibility cloak. Looking around the corner was also a good guess.

Dumbledore expected them to move as far away from the door as possible, so he looked to the farthest corner.

If there are any other exceptions, Im sure Dumbledores keen perception and understanding that only Harry has a perfect invisibility cloak can explain them.

Appear To Disappear With The Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak

Victoria Rosenthal |

As a Potterhead, Id do anything to be a witch. The muggle world just doesnt have the same wild adventures and magic.

While the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios Florida is amazing, I cant wave my wand, recite an incantation, and have money appear before me to cover the trip. So, fun toys hold me over until I can fly over there hopefully in a magical flying car if Ford could figure out the logistics.

Its as if Professor Dumbledore handed me the real-deal cape, which looks almost exactly like the one in the movies. The cloak is two-sided, with a detailed pattern printed on velvety fabric on one side and bright green fabric on the other. It comes with a clasp on the neckline so that you can wear it without holding it.

There are three different cloaks for fans can choose from depending on the quality level youd like: There is the basic version that just has the cloak, the Walmart-exclusive version that includes a phone stand, and the deluxe version that includes a tripod. All are great quality, but the increase in pricing determines which phone stand and type of cloak you receive. The deluxe cloaks design has the most similarities with the movies cloak and a printed pattern that is more intricate than the two others plus, it comes with the tripod to prevent shaky videos.

Is The Invisibility Cloak That Harry Possesses A Deathly Hallow

Yes, it is one of the Deathly Hallows, and if someone is thinking how can we be sure that the invisibility cloak that Harry possesses is the one then answer me how many cloaks of invisibility are there in the entire world? correct, there is only one invisibility cloak and that is what Harry possesses.

It was the last or third Deathly Hallow which was gifted by the death according to the The Tale of the Three Brothers and it is also said that if someone combines all the three Hallows the Elder Wand, Resurrection Stone, and Invisibility Cloak then he/she will be the master of death.

It is also the only Hallow to have been passed down properly from Ignotus Peverells time. In the series, Harry gets hold of all of the Deathly Hallows and he could have become the master of death but he didnt. He dropped the Resurrection Stone in the forbidden forest and he breaks the elder wand.
