What Does Hermione Granger Do After The Battle Of Hogwarts

Harry Says Goodbye to Ron and Hermione | Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Pt. 2

As soon as Hogwarts was ready for students again, Hermione went back to studying for her exams immediately.

After passing her exams and gaining the proper qualifications, she too joined the Ministry of Magic.

While serving under the Ministry, Hermione worked in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures and the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

Granger would go on to work her way up the ranks and earn the respect of the Ministry of Magic.

Hermione Granger would later be elected as the 36th Prime Minister of the Ministry of Magic after the retirement of Kingsley Shacklebolt in 2019.

The Minister of Magic knowingly works alongside the Muggle worlds Prime Minister, meaning Hermione Granger has worked alongside Boris Johnson and Theresa May

As a side project, Hermione Granger would translate The Tales of Beedle the Bard from runes to English.

Hermiones strongest attribute was her intelligence, and it was something she would use her entire life.

History Of Voldemort And Harry Potter

Harry Potter is a young wizard, born on July 31, 1980, as the only son of James and Lily Potter. He is a Half-Blood, as his maternal family is of Muggle heritage. When he was a boy, a prophecy named him as the only person able to take down and kill Lord Voldemort during the First Wizarding War.

After finding that out, Lord Voldemort went to Godrics Hollow with the intent to kill Harry while he was still a child. He killed his parents, but the protection his mother gave Harry spared the childs life, as Voldemorts Killing Cure backfired and seemingly killed him, leaving the child with a thunder-shaped scar on his forehead.

The books follow Harrys education in Hogwarts and his growth, as he prepares for the final confrontation with the now-resurrected Lord Voldemort, who was never actually dead thanks to the Horcruxes he created.

After finishing his education, Harry Potter married Ginny Weasley, the younger sister of his best friend, Ron Weasley. In continuity, he currently works as the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement with the Ministry of Magic, after previously having headed the Auror Office he is also a guest lecturer of Defence Against the Dark Arts in Hogwarts.

He And Hermione Became Parents

Around two years after Ron became a godfather to Harry’s son James, he became an actual father as well. Hermione gave birth to their daughter Rose around 2005, within a year of the birth of Harry and Ginny’s second son Albus Severus. Since they were approximately the same age, Rose and her cousin Albus were very close, and at the age of six, they considered each other as best friends. They started their education at Hogwarts together in 2017.

Ron was extremely proud of his daughter, because she inherited her mother’s intelligence, was incredibly popular at school, and earned a spot on Gryffindor’s Quidditch team as a Chaser in her second year.

Forgiving Albus And Scorpius

Rupert Grint alias Ron Weasley gesteht: Er hätte beinahe ...

Albus and Scorpius risked endangering the entire world with their time traveling. Their actions were certainly enough to predict another tense moment between Albus and his father Harry. Instead, Harry forgave his son and Scorpius for what they did, as did Ron, Hermione, Ginny, and Draco. They certainly didn’t condone what Albus and Scorpius did, but they didn’t punish them either. They forgave and chose not to hold it above their heads forever.

In all fairness, Harry, Ron, and Hermione couldn’t justly treat the situation any other way. After all the rules they broke and the danger they placed themselves and others in, they’d be the world’s biggest hypocrites to approach the situation with righteous anger. In fact, they had their own meddling with a Time-Turner during Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Hearing Albus and Scorpius’ side of the story and what they’d done, Ron and Hermione understand that the two boys had positive intentions, albeit their recklessness and the consequences that followed. They may have seen more of their young selves in Albus and Scorpius in that moment than in their own children.

Ultimately the adults were just relieved that Albus and Scorpius were safe and alive. Now they had to unite to defeat the final threat–Delphi.

He Got Over His Feud With Viktor Krum

Ron was once Viktor Krum’s biggest fan, but when the Bulgarian National Quidditch team’s star Seeker journeyed to Hogwarts to compete in the Triwizard Tournament as Durmstrang’s champion and started courting Hermione, Viktor became Ron’s biggest rival. He was livid when he found out Hermione and Viktor had “snogged,” and his jealousy upon seeing the couple together at the Yule Ball is what prompted Ron to finally acknowledge his feelings for Hermione.

It seems like Ron eventually got over his feud with Viktor, though, because at the 427th Quidditch World Cup, he openly joined the rest of Dumbledore’s Army in cheering Krum on and had “a determined grin on his face” when Krum caught the Golden Snitch and won his first championship in the final match.

Hermione Made Life Better For House

What Happened to George Weasley after Fred Died? – Harry Potter Explained

Harry and Ron started working at the Ministry of Magic sooner than Hermione, but only because she took the time to finish her 7th year and take her N.E.W.T.s. Once properly graduated and achieving top marks, Hermione joined her best friends at the Ministry. Instead of the Auror Department, Hermione began her career at the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.

As the second largest department at the Ministry of Magic, Hermione wisely used their resources to work on a cause near and dear to her heart. J.K. Rowling divulged that Hermione used her position to greatly improve the lives of house-elves.

It is inspiring to hear that the work Hermione began with S.P.E.W–the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare–continued into adulthood and her career.

This shows that activism at any level is the foundation for real, significant change. Even when she was mocked for it, Hermione stuck with S.P.E.W. and used her knowledge and experiences as stepping stones to create positive change for house-elves. After everything Dobby and Kreacher and even the other kitchen house-elves at Hogwarts did to help Harry, Ron and Hermione, it’s only right that the lives of house-elves ultimately improved.

Last Survivors In Hiding

In a different alternate timeline created by Albus and Scorpius meddling with the Time-Turner, Ron and Hermione are together in hiding, but in a world that is far worse. Neville Longbottom was taken out before he could slay Nagini in this timeline, meaning Voldemort’s last Horcrux remained and he successfully defeated Harry and won the war.

Harry’s passing means that Albus is erased from the timeline, meaning Scorpius is on his own, facing a Hogwarts under the control of Dolores Umbridge.

All that remains of the Order of the Phoenix and Dumbledore’s Army are Severus Snape, Ron, and Hermione. Snape continues to teach at Hogwarts, his true loyalties a secret to all except Ron and Hermione. The two of them are in hiding via the Whomping Willow as they are two of the most wanted people in the magical world, but they are not together romantically.

In a Hogwarts poisoned by Voldemort’s victory and the malicious Headmistress Umbridge, Scorpius seeks help from Snape. From the stories he’s heard growing up, Scorpius knows the truth about Snape and it’s those truths that convince Snape that what Scorpius is telling him is real. Snape brings Scorpius to Ron and Hermione, his only remaining allies.

It may be a depressing future, but there’s still something fascinating and a bit exhilarating in Snape, Hermione and Ron uniting as the last of the resistance.

Ron’s daughter Rose was almost the same age as Harry and Ginny’s second-born son Albus Severus, so they grew up not only as cousins, but as best friends as well. When they entered into their first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry together, Ron asked for his daughter to look after Albus, since being the son of the Chosen One was sure to bring with it a lot of pressure.

Unfortunately, Albus was Sorted into Slytherin and wasn’t particularly popular despite his widely-beloved father’s reputation, so Rose and Albus started to grow apart at school. Despite this, when they went back to Hogwarts for their second year, Ron instructed Rose to do what she could to protect Albus.

Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire

In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the Weasleys invite Harry and Hermione to the Quidditch World Cup. Ron is in awe of his favourite Quidditch champion, Viktor Krum. Ron is even more excited when Krum, still a student at the Durmstrang wizarding school, comes to Hogwarts to take part in the Triwizard Tournament, a magical wizarding tournament opposing the top three magic schools in Europe. However, when Harry, underage, mysteriously becomes the fourth Tournament champion, Ron joins the dissenters who think Harry somehow cheated his way into the tournament and feels let down according to Hermione, this stems from Ron’s latent envy caused by being left out of the spotlight shared by Harry or his brothers. The rift is serious enough that the friends fail to make up for nearly a month. They only reconcile shortly after Harry successfully gets by a fire-breathing dragon in the first task Ron realises how dangerous the Tournament is and finally believes that Harry did not enter himself.

In the Second Task of the Tournament, Ron is the person selected for Harry to rescue from the depths of the Hogwarts Lake, as he is the one whom Harry would most miss. Harry successfully saves him and Ron mocks him gently for thinking that the hostages for the task were in actual danger.
