I took my son to see the play for his birthday. So grateful we got to see the last show before Broadway went dark. The storyline was fantastic and the plays special effects were amazing as well. The actors were enjoyable and very entertaining. My son thought Scorpius was hilarious. The theatre seating was comfortable but not always easy to see over the heads of people sitting directly in front of us. Price was reasonable for where we were sitting. Would definitely go again for the right price for seats.

I opted for the “next-to-cheapest” tickets but in hindsight would have gone up to the next price level without hesitation. If you’re unsure about spending more, it’s completely worth it to choose closer seats. The script was not life-changing for me so I wasn’t expecting to be blown away. I was. This is one of those things you have to experience in person. Trust the reviews!! It’s like watching the entire HP film franchise being crafted right in front of your eyes.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the play based on an original story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, is set to return to Broadway this winter.
Previously a two-part production, it will debut as a newly staged “one show magical experience,” according to producers Sonia Friedman Productions.
The expected running time of the single show has not been detailed the two parts had a combined length of about 5 hours and 15 minutes. Newsweek has contacted producers for comment.
The single show’s premiere is scheduled for November 16 at New York City’s Lyric Theatre. Pre-sale tickets will be available from July 8 and go on general release four days later.
The play returns to Broadway more than a year after the theater industry was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the two-part play that continues Potters story 19 years after the events of the books, will resume performances on November 16 at the Lyric Theatre. However, the creative team performed major surgery during the industry shutdown: Cursed Child will now be one extra-long play, rather than two separate performances.
Given the challenges of remounting and running a two-part show in the US, said producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender, and the commercial challenges faced by the theatre and tourism industries emerging from the global shutdowns, we are excited to be able to move forward with a new version of the play that allows audiences to enjoy the complete Cursed Child adventure in one sitting eight times a week.
No word yet on which content has been excised, whether this will have any effect on casting and available roles, or a final runtime for the new version. Tickets go on sale July 12.
First, the prestige revival. Angels in America is arguably the most influential multi-part play in theatre history, and while its 2018 remount won a bevvy of Tony Awards, it lost much of its capitalization, according to investors.

Dates And Ticket Information
Tickets for the Broadway debut performance and other shows can be booked via the play’s official website.
Performances will begin at Broadway’s Lyric Theatre from November 16 before showing at San Francisco’s Curran theater from January 11, 2022.
“Fan pre-sale” tickets for the Broadway debut performance will be available from July 8, while tickets for the general public go on sale from July 12.
The pre-sale for the San Francisco show begins July 15, while the general sale begins July 21.
The play will also premiere in Canada at the Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto in May 2022. Ticket sale dates for the play’s Canada debut are yet to be announced.
The new production will also be staged at different cities across the globe, including in London, Melbourne in Australia, Hamburg in Germany and Tokyo.
Exact dates and ticket sale information for most of these performances outside North America have yet to be announced.

The show is most suitable for those aged 10 and above. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted in the theatre. The producers recommend that anyone coming to see this show would benefit by reading the synopsis of the fourth book in the series, at the very least. The response to the play from the Harry Potterfandom was polarizing.Fans responded positively to the play and its characters, with Scorpius Malfoy being particularly popular. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is actually made up of two performances. They can be viewed back to back, or on consecutive days. It is recommended to get tickets for the back to back performances, which is what we did.
The afternoon performance starts at 2:00 pm and ends at approximately 4:45pm The evening performance then starts at 7:30 pm and gets out around 10:00 pm You need to arrive early to check in and find your seats so this really makes for a full day.
