Sirius Black’s Enchanted Motorbike
Sirius Black owned a flying motorbike, which he lent to Hagrid the night Harry’s parents died. It is first seen when Hagrid delivers the baby Harry to Number 4, Privet Drive in the first book, and then again when Hagrid uses it to transport Harry to a safe house in the seventh volume. In Deathly Hallows, various modifications have been made to the bike by Mr. Weasley, allowing it to create a brick wall or a net that erupts from the exhaust pipe and to shoot dragon fire from the exhaust, impelling the bike’s sudden acceleration. The dragon-fire feature is used to great effect by Hagrid and Harry when being chased by Voldemort however, Mr. Weasley did warn that he was unsure of its safety and that they should use it only in an emergency. He was right to say this, as the sidecar of the motorbike, unaffected by Hagrid’s magic dislodged after the abrupt acceleration.
The bike is severely damaged when, with Hagrid and Harry aboard, it crashes into Ted and Andromeda Tonks‘ garden pond. Mr. Weasley covertly tells Harry that he plans to put the bike back together when “he has time”, meaning when Mrs. Weasley is distracted or has forgotten about it. He hides it in the chicken coop and manages to repair it, giving it to Harry between the end of Deathly Hallows and the epilogue. The bike is now still in Harry’s possession, but he doesn’t use it.
What Every Wand In Harry Potter Looks Like
A great deal of thought went into the design of the wands in the Harry Potteruniverse. Each wand is meant to reflect the personality of the witch or wizard who wields it. For example, Harrys wand is simple, but incredibly powerful, much like himself. Bellatrixs wand is crooked and resembles a birds talon and is described by Ollivander as being unyielding, much like her.
Although Potter wandlore isnt extensively explored in the series, it is significant. Theres a profound bond between the wizard and the wand. For example, both Harrys and Voldemorts wands contain the same core – a phoenix feather from Fawkes. The wands, like Harry and Voldemort, are linked. Some characters, such as Ron Weasley and Neville Longbottom, had more than one wand throughout the series because their first one was damaged or taken away.
Harry Potter wands are a key insight into the witch or wizard to which they belong. The key “specs” of a wand are its length, the type of wood it’s made from, and the material at its core. For some of the characters – including Sirius Black – we don’t have any of this information, or know one or two things about the person’s wand. Just like the story itself, the magical accouterments of the Harry Potter universe are complex. Whether the character is a member of the Order of the Phoenix or got sorted into the House of Slytherin, their wand has significance.
And for your viewing pleasure, here are some dank pics of Potter wands.
Can Voldemort Use The Elder Wand
Voldemort cast a Killing Curse on Harry using the Elder Wand. The wand seemingly worked because Harry intended to die at Voldemort’s hand, much as Dumbledore had planned his death with Snape. … Despite this, Voldemort used the Elder Wand to cast his final Killing Curse against Harry’s Disarming Charm.

Arthur Weasley’s Flying Ford Anglia
Arthur Weasley owned a 1960 Ford Anglia 105E that he subsequently enchanted consequently, the vehicle can fly, become invisible, and carry the entire Weasley family in spite of its formerly non-enchanted interior dimensions , among other abilities. The enchantment placed on the car also made it semi-sentient. In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the car is borrowed by Fred, George and Ron, who use it to rescue Harry from the Dursleys’ house. Ron and Harry later steal the car in order to return to Hogwarts after the gate to Platform 9¾ is sealed by Dobby. After they arrive at school, landing in the Whomping Willow, the car ejects Harry, Ron, and their luggage, then flees into the Forbidden Forest, ignoring Ron’s pleas for it to come back. Mr Weasley soon faces an inquiry at the Ministry of Magic, as seven Muggles saw the car flying across areas of Central London and the British countryside, and is forced to pay a large fine.
The 1962 Ford Anglia used in the film was acquired by Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley, and is currently displayed in the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu. A total of 14 Ford Anglias were destroyed during the filming of the scene where the car crashes into the Whomping Willow.
Why Daniel Radcliffe Had To Keep Replacing His Wands On Harry Potter
While Harry Potter managed to keep his wand in one piece for six years before it broke in The Deathly Hallows, actor Daniel Radcliffe didn’t come close to that record.
Over the course of filming the eight-part Harry Potter franchise, Radcliffe broke many, many wands. Was it was the lack of actual magic in his props that caused them to break so easily? Or was his penchant for wand-breaking down to the fact that Radcliffe formed habit he just never shook? On the season finale of First We Feast’s YouTube show Hot Ones, Radcliffe revealed it was the latter.
Hot Ones is an unconventional talk show in which host Sean Evans asks his celebrity guest a series of questions as they eat increasingly hot chicken wings. Despite or perhaps because of Hot Ones‘ unique premise and setting, it’s attracted some huge names, and even helped WE wrestler Sasha Banks land a part onThe Mandalorian. Radcliffe appeared on the show this month in its pandemic-appropriate format, video-calling in from the comfort of his own home. And even though Radcliffe has moved on from Harry Potter to other projects, Evans couldn’t resist asking him a couple very specific, hopefully unique questions about his time within the wizarding world.

When Did Harry Potter Get His Wand
Shortly after his 11th birthday and his first time learning he was, in fact, a wizard, Harry visited Diagon Alley with Hagrid to buy his school supplies. During this first trip to Diagon Alley, Harry visited Ollivanders Wand Shop to purchase his first wand.
It was something hed been looking forward to since finding out he was a wizard and seemed quite taken aback by the shop owner Garrick Ollivander himself, and the process of his wand fitting. The details of his fitting included a measuring tape that could act on its own while taking Harrys measurements, and testing out several different wands that didnt work.
After several failed attempts, Ollivander referred to harry as a tricky customer and decided to try something he seemed to consider rather unorthodox. He gave Harry a wand that he alluded to being somewhat ominous as he offered it to Harry to try. Ollivanders intrigue grew as he realized the wand did indeed fit Harry.
Harry paid a total of seven gold galleons for his wand, and Ollivander confirmed that he felt that they would be seeing great things from Harry in the future. Ollivander seemed to base this opinion on the magic the wands brother had done, which he acknowledged was terrible, but great.

Does It Cost More For The Interactive Harry Potter Wand Buying Experience
Another question we receive is, how much does a wand cost at Ollivanders when you choose the interactive buying experience? The best part is, it doesnt cost you any extra! Just like the other experiences guests simply must purchase the cost of the wand. The cool thing about this experience is also that the wand that you select is going to be completely unique. This means no other famous Harry Potter characters would have the same wand as you.
How Does Harry Potters Wand Work
For the most part wands in the magical world only work as well as the wizard using them. They have to know their wand well, and also have to develop their own skills. As you read about earlier, many types of wands may be well suited for specific types of magic, but by and large, the wizard controls the wand and what it can do.
Harrys wand is slightly different because of the shared core with Voldemorts wand. The wands are unable to fatally wound each other, as they recognize each other as a brother. Because of this connection, Harrys wand was able to do some unique magic that most wizards are unfamiliar with or had never even heard of before.

He Enjoys The Challenge
Others have mentioned that he likes his job and has a fascination with magical power that can be channeled out with unique, hand-crafted wands.
We don’t see him helping others in detail, but I would assert that, though he’s passionate about matching each witch and wizard consumer with their apposite wand, respectively, there must also be some elevated savor associated with solving especially difficult match-making trials.
The most complex or complicated pairings free Olivander from an otherwise more tedious and predictable exercise . It also enables him to continue to grow at his vocation, even though he’s already a master at it. This demonstrates that there’s always still some potential for growth even for someone so skilled, seasoned, and advanced at a trade as he is. He’s probably conscious of this.

When And Why Did Harry Potters Wand Break
In Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows both Harry and Hermione make the decision to travel to Godrics Hollow to visit Bathilda Bagshot while they are searching for the Sword of Griffyndor.
Believing its possible Bathilda either has the sword or information about where the sword may be, they follow her back to her home.
Unfortunately for Harry, Hermione, and Harrys wand, Voldemort foresaw this as a possibility and used Nagini as a trap. Bathilda lured Harry up to a room where Nagini was waiting to attack. As Nagini tried to attack, Hermione used a blasting curse which, while saving them both, ricocheted and caused Harrys wand to break.
Harry saved the pieces of his wand out of nostalgia as he knew based on Rons experiences in Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets that wands could not be repaired once broken to this degree.

What Is Harry Potters Wand Called
Like most wands in the wizarding world, Harrys wand did not have a specific name. Ollivander tended to identify his wands by what they were made of and their cores. He also often talked about how flexible the wand was, and sometimes suggested the types of magic a wand might excel at.
The one exception to this is The Elder Wand, which was part of wizarding and wandlore. Because of the unique abilities this wand held, its unusual origination, and the history of its owners, it did have its own name.
Who Is The True Owner Of The Elder Wand
Antioch Pevrell, one of the Pevrell brothers is the first owner of the Elder Wand. After several years, Gergorovitch is the next owner, the wand was stolen by Grindelwald from Gregorovitch. After Grindewald mastered the Elder wand, he was defeated by Dumbledore and imprisoned in Nurmengard. Grindelwald and Dumbledore used to be friends until Dumbledore lost his sister. They both had their passion for the Deathly Hallows in common, but the death of Dumbledores sister affected them.
However, Dumbledore did not duel Grindelwald for revenge, he did it to fight and overpower The Dark Lord. Later, Draco disarmed Dumbledore, to become the new master, and Harry Potter beat Draco at the Manor winning both his Hawthorn wand and the elder wand. Though Draco never used the elder wand, it was rightfully his till Harry defeated him.
The owner of the wand must win the wand in a duel. There cannot be two owners, and the elder wand decides its own destiny. When Voldermort removed the wand from Dumbledores tomb after killing Snape, he believed he was the rightful owner, but the wand rightfully belongs to Draco Malfoy because he disarmed Professor Dumbledore at the astronomy tower before Snape finished the job. The true owner of the wand is the person that overpowered its previous owner. When Harry potter destroyed it, he was the rightful owner.

What Is Actually Happening When Harry Potter Is Trying Out Wands
When Harry is in Ollivanders, he holds certain wands and magic happens whilst trying to find a wand match.
Is this similar to when he uses magic uncontrollably in the third book and what is the spell that happens when Harry Potter first touches his wand?
- 1The second question should really be asked as a new question because it doesn’t really fall under the scope of the main question here so I edited it out.Jan 11, 2019 at 16:36

In the book the ‘wand choosing’ is simply accompanied by a lack of action until he finds the correct wand.
Harry appears to cast the same spell again in a subsequent book when he’s angered.
DUDLEY! roared Uncle Vernon. I want to know exactly what happened to my son! FINE! yelled Harry, and in his temper, red and gold sparks shot out of the end of his wand, still clutched in his hand. All three Dursleys flinched, looking terrified.

Notably, the appearance of sparks appears to be a common side-effect when a wand is handled and waved. The quantity of sparks appears to be related to how closely aligned the wand is to the practitioner’s personality.
The spell may be related to Relashio which appears to emits hot sparks.
