Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone
Harry first appears in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Starting in 1981, when Harry was just one year old, his parents, James and Lily, were murdered by the most powerful Dark Wizard, Lord Voldemort . He attempted to kill Harry too, but was unsuccessful and only left a lightning bolt shaped scar on Harry’s forehead. Voldemort’s body was destroyed, but his soul was not. Harry later learns that the reason why he survived was that his mother sacrificed herself for him, and her love was something that Voldemort could not destroy.
According to Rowling, fleshing out this back story was a matter of reverse planning: “The basic idea Harry … didn’t know he was a wizard … and so then I kind of worked backwards from that position to find out how that could be, that he wouldn’t know what he was… That’s… When he was one year old, the most evil wizard for hundreds and hundreds of years attempted to kill him. He killed Harry’s parents, and then he tried to kill Harryhe tried to curse him…. Harry has to find out, before we find out. And for some mysterious reason, the curse didn’t work on Harry. So he’s left with this lightning-bolt shaped scar on his forehead, and the curse rebounded upon the evil wizard who has been in hiding ever since”.

What The Cast Of Harry Potter Looks Like Now
We all know what Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson look like today, but what about the rest of the actors who starred in Harry Potter?
The Harry Potterfilm franchise started in 2001 with Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone and ended ten years later with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Between the eight movies that adapted J. K. Rowlings seven novels of the series, hundreds of actors were given the chance to bring the Wizarding World and its inhabitants to life, composing one of the most brilliant casts in the history of cinema.
The cast of Harry Potter was notable for bringing together the esteemed British thespians of cinema in the U.K., and just about every big-shot British actor wanted to be part of it. The few ones there were left out, like Jude Law, complained about it at the time. Though, if only he had waited, he would have seen that in 2017 hed be cast as Young Dumbledore in Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them 2.
But aside from Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint who portrayed the central three characters in the Harry Potter films there are several other actors who had to move on with their careers after the franchise ended, and some of them look significantly different nowadays.
This is What The Cast of Harry Potter Looks Like Now.

How The Cast Of Harry Potter Should Really Look
The Harry Potter films have been deemed by most fans to be appropriate adaptations of the wildly popular book series, bringing the story of Hogwarts to life while bringing them to a much wider audience.
While the films were, for the most part, faithful to the books , there were some differences in the appearance of the actors versus the way their characters were described in the books. Here’s what the Harry Potter cast would have looked like if their appearances really reflected Rowling’s writing.
How Hes Described In The Books
Harry had a thin face, knobbly knees, black hair and bright-green eyes. He wore round glasses held together with a lot of Sellotape because of all the times Dudley had punched him on the nose. The only thing Harry liked about his own appearance was a very thin scar on his forehead which was shaped like a bolt of lightning. He had had it as long as he could remember and the first question he could ever remember asking his Aunt Petunia was how he had got it.Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone

Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets
In the second book, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Rowling pits Harry against Tom Riddle, Lord Voldemort’s “memory” within a secret diary which has possessed Ron’s younger sister Ginny. When Muggle-born students are suddenly being Petrified, many suspect that Harry may be behind the attacks, further alienating him from his peers. Furthermore, Harry begins to doubt his worthiness for House of Gryffindor, particularly considering he discovers he shares Lord Voldemort’s ability to communicate with snakes via Parseltongue. In the climax, Ginny disappears. To rescue her, Harry battles Riddle and the monster he controls that is hidden in the Chamber of Secrets. To defeat the monster, Harry summons the Sword of Godric Gryffindor from the Sorting Hat supplied by Dumbledore’s pet phoenix, Fawkes. In doing so, Dumbledore later restores Harry’s self-esteem by explaining that that feat is clear proof of his worthiness of his present house.
